Framing

1. There is a small row of cheap hole in the wall type framing shops near Eldorado cinema. In the block between 5th and 7th, 6th and 8th, just back from the corner of 6th and 7th. I have used the first one in the row a lot, they are cheap and will do exactly what you ask, but they wont give opinions.
2. There is a framing shop in the row of shops on 4th between 3rd and 5th opposite capitol gardens. Its called art centre or something. They have more ornate frames and the old man there will give you advice about what would look best, and I have found his judgment very good.

3. Posters behind Capital Hotel on Al Salam Street are very good.  There is a shop above Spinney's in Khalydia that also do a range of frames and framing.  Not sure which  one would be better regarding costs.

Abu Dhabi Health & Fitness Club - Abu Dhabi Country Club on 19th between 24th & 28th.  Adie and Hassann. All recommended. I go there because I'm very happy with the quality and because I can drop my two boys off in the creche when I get it done. 
Their number is 023332883. Can't remember the cost but it's around 250 AED maximum for wash, cut & blow dry. I think it's less if you don't have it styled at the end. Just ask when you call to double check the price. They also do waxing, manicure & pedicures and all sorts of other treatments so it's a bit of a one stop shop and very handy if you have kids in tow.

There is a really good gal in Al Raha Gardens, she cuts hair from a salon at the back of her house. 150 AED

I recently got my hair cut in the one-to-one hotel and really like it. The hair stylist is Jean (from Lebanon). The cost of haircut is AED150 and AED230 with blow dry. The hotel is in Al Nahyan area.
