Gecenlerde Amal icin hazirladim bu listeyi, ileride dahada buyutmek dilegiyle diyorum
Shopping : Cevahir Alisveris Merkezi (Mall) in Sisli- close to Taksim, it is big and you can find everything there.
Shoes: Divarese, Deriden, Hotic, Inci, Kemal Tanca and many others
Clothes: Mudo Collection, Zara, Herry, Koton, Massimu Dutti, Mango, and so many other shops some local some big brands
Furniture; accessories, gift: TEPE , English Home and so many others
Bags: I only go for fake ones but good ones and they are good but still expensive but not as expensive as the original ones of course, if you find one fake and you really like and you trust the quality is good then you can pay up to AED 1,000 (Turkish lira 500-this is how much I paid this year) but of course bargain HARD, They sell fake bags in NISANTASI (area name) which is close to Sisli-Cevahir mall. In Nisantasi where there is PELIT patisserie which is YUMMY and you should try their EKPA cake, delicious! And bag shops are nearby this PELIT pastanesi (as we say, pastane=patisserie)
FOOD: Pelit is very good for their cake
There is another restaurant called BORSA which is near Hilton Elmadag (very close to TAKSIM) but don’t get confused, there are other BORSA restaurants, this one is near Hilton Elmedag and Lutfu Kirdar Sergi Sarayi-go for lunch to see the view.
Nice view and delicious Turkish food, not everybody knows it but the food is amazing.
If you like profiterole go to INCI ( inci) in Taksim, Istiklal Caddesi, very small shop they sell mainly only profiterole OMG it is to die for, must have it!
In Ortakoy you can have KUMPIR, GOZLEME, MANTI, WAFFLE there are so many small shops they sell these.
SIMIT-Simit is a street food, they sell it everywhere
In TAKSIM, there are thousands of cafes, restaurants, try to pick the ones are not well known, such as Starbucks, Gloria etc, try to find unique, boutique cute cafee’s, and in NISANTASI there are so many cute restaurants cafes, it is a bit posh place, might be pricy
In BEBEK also the same, so many places to eat, posh expensive but the view is just perfect!
FX rate, I am sure you now, multiply Turkish Lira by 2 to convert to AED.
